Last Updated: October 16, 2025

1. Introduction

SocialMediaFreeTools.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). This policy outlines our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.

2. Our Content Policy

Important: SocialMediaFreeTools.com does not permanently store user-uploaded images. All uploaded content is processed in real-time and automatically deleted from our servers immediately after processing.

However, users may occasionally upload content that infringes copyrights, and we have implemented this policy to address such situations promptly.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on our website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing.

4. DMCA Takedown Notice Requirements

Your notice must include the following information:

1. Physical or Electronic Signature
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2. Identification of Copyrighted Work
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.

3. Identification of Infringing Material
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.

4. Contact Information
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.

5. Good Faith Statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. Accuracy Statement
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

5. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement

What Happens After a Counter-Notice?
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. The removed content may be replaced or access to it restored in 10-14 business days after receipt of the counter-notice, unless our Copyright Agent receives notice from the original complainant that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on our system or network.

6. Code Protection Policy

Source Code Protection: The source code, algorithms, and technical implementation of SocialMediaFreeTools.com are our proprietary property. We treat code infringement seriously and will:

  • Issue DMCA takedown notices for copied code
  • Pursue legal action for serious violations
  • Work with hosting providers to remove infringing content

If you find our code copied elsewhere, please report to our Copyright Agent.

7. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, are repeatedly infringing the copyrights of others.

8. False Claims Liability

Important Notice: Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.

We may not be able to act on your complaint if it is not properly filled out or if the complaint is incomplete.
